Having problems with your Fujitsu LifeBook® E8110 PC Notebook ?

I need to change the BIOS battery in my Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook E8110. How do i do this?? Where is it to be found? The back up battery for this machine is at the back below the screen hinges, not at the side. Regard's Yossarrian

Answers :

Most BIOS batteries are on your motherboard. If you have the time and patience you could take apart your laptop and replace it yourself. However I would suggest, first if its under warranty to take it to your vendor, second, if the first fails, take it to a local computer shop. The small computer shop guys are usually very knowledgeable and they have a good chance of teaching you a few things while they fix your computer
