Having problems with your E-Machines T5082 PC Desktop ?

I have a t5082 emachine desktop and i want to dump it back to its original default settings

Answers :

Depending on what you need reset you can do this in several levels.
\015\012
\015\012One is using windows restore to restore it to a previous setup point.
\015\012You can find that under accessories restore computer. Just select a earlier date and it should restore some of the settings.
\015\012
\015\012To zero it out to brand new out of the box then you probably need to reinstall everything from the system restore dvd. That should wipe everything out. If you save off your documents email addies, and emails, As well as favorites then you can import those back in after and not loose much.
For that you need recovery disk or winxp or vista bootable disk.
Then boot your computer with disk.
When you power up the computer press F1 or F2 or "del" key to enter in bios. Then go to boot menu then set first boot device as your cd / dvd rom.
Then save and exit .
Then it boot with disk.
Then follow the procedure and if you want previos windows then choose "r" option for repair.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Thanks.
