If you have a Yellow light on power supply, chances are you have blown the power supply.
\015\012Even with a PC unplugged in a Bad Storm, I have seen many PC's and Laptops with Supplies shoot.
\015\012If you have a little computer savvy, the best thing to do is,
\015\0121. Disconnect power.
\015\0122. Open unit.
\015\0123. Disconnect all Devices from supply.
\015\0124. Disconnect 20 04 24 pin power supply connector to mother board.
\015\0125. If you have other connectors such as 4-pin 24 Volt acc. you can disconnect that as well.
\015\0126. Now plug in the supply. Note... Some supply's have a reset located in the rear of the supply, where it makes its input ( A/C connection. ) If so try the reset. Some supply's also light up or have a service light when sensing input power, some do not.
\015\0127. If all looks good and no sparks or flames, re-connect the mother board connection, (only)
\015\012Try to power on computer.
\015\012Note..... If you still have the Yellow light, Replace the supply.
\015\012
\015\012In some cases, the power supply sees a fault and fold back to a protection mode.
\015\012The supply has several Capacitors in which hold a charge and when connected to the mother board retain that charge. Disconnecting the Mother Board 20- 24 pin connector will allow this charge to dissipate.
\015\012If all works after reconnecting supply, Your Good To Go.!!!
\015\012If not, you may need another Power supply.
\015\012Or may have done other damage.
\015\012
\015\012Hope all works out for you.
\015\012Try it, it may work...
