Dead emachine t3104

\015 The problem i have is not from the power supply, i turn the pc on and the fan on the power supply kicks on for a second as well as the cpu fan. After this happens the psu seems as if it freezes and i can not turn it off without unplugging the psu. However i can get the fans on both to turn on only if i unplug the 4-pin 12 volt plug is removed from the motheboard, any help with this would be great.\015
