Having problems with your Dell PC Desktops ?

I need to know how energy, as in electricity effects the enviroment? Like does using electricity instead of gasoline reduce our carbon footprints?

Answers :

It depends on how the electricity is generated. If your area is like ours, most electricity is generated by coal which is not going to "reduce our carbon footprint". However if the electricity is generated by water going over a dam, it certainly would.
\015\012If you are speaking of strictly automobiles using electricity instead of gasoline, again, it depends. If the vehicle has it's own internal charging system which uses the vehicle's own inertia as a means to charge the batteries, it will. However if the vehicle requires being plugged into a household outlet to charge, then the first paragraph would apply.
