Having problems with your Dell OptiPlex GX520n PC Desktop ?

When starting the computer it freezes on the screen that says dell and the load bar stops. It will not turn off and so I tried unplugging it and when I plugged it back it and went to the same screen. What should I do to fix it? Or atleast what do you think is wrong with it?

It sounds like there could be a problem with the hard drive. You will need to run Dell Diagnostic Utility to find out exactly what the problem is.

Turn on the computer. When the DELL™ logo appears, press <F12>\015\012immediately. If you wait too long and the Microsoft® Windows® logo\015\012appears, continue to wait until you see the Windows desktop. Then shut\015\012down your computer and try again.

When the boot device list appears, highlight Diagnostics and press <Enter>.

The computer begins to run the Pre-boot System Assessment, a series of\015\012embedded diagnostics that perform initial testing on your system board,\015\012keyboard, hard drive, and display.
