Need instructions on how to install Memory module for OptiPlex GX280

Answers :

Ok lay computer down plat. there are two grey buttons on the side.
\015\012compress both at same time.
\015\012lift and unit should open
\015\012you will see one or two green sticks about 3inches in size sitting in a slot call a address bus. on each end on the slot there are one lever to release the ram from its slot. . make sure you have unpluged unit from the wall socket. DO NOT stand on carpet this will release ESD. elictro magnetic discharge. remember which way the ram stick is facing press down on both end levers and remove the stick from its seating.
\015\012put new ram in the same way you took the old 1 out . levers will snap back up into place when you have it seated correctly.
\015\012close unit and boot unit. if a blur screen appears shut down and reopen unit repeat procedures by switching the rams around. if problem persist your ram is not compatible and you may have to get a two 512s or so on. i hope this was helpful.
