Having problems with your Dell OptiPlex GX260 PC Desktop ?

Optiplex GX280 will not boot past post

\015 I was flashing the bios and had a power failure, now when I start up it boots to the post screen and then I lose video.. I have already discovered that the bios update did not complete.. Meaning that my bios is completely wiped off the systen.. How do I restore the original bios? I have tried resetion memory, I have the licensed copy of windows xp but cannot get it to boot from the cd. Any solutions???\015

Worth a shot is to put the bios flash on floppy and see if you can get it to boot from that and if you are very lucky you may be able to re-flash.

\015\012If you did take a backup on the last attempt try to get that version of the bios back in first as that was a known good bios.
