Fatal error on Inspirion Dell. Can't get it to boot at all now.

\015 I tried booting from a McAfee disk thinking it would solve the problem. I am unable to get anything but a blue screen with a message about a fatal error. Yikes! Any suggestions? The system did not come with any backup system disks.\015

Have you tried the factory restore? This is straight from Dell. I have used this on my Win 7 many times and it does work fine. this is for all versions Windows after XP.

Restore the computer's software to original condition.

  3. As the computer starts, press < F8 > on the keyboard until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears on the screen. You must press before the Windows logo appears on the screen. If you press after the Windows logo appears on the screen, the Advanced Boot Options menu will not appear on the screen. If you do not see the Advanced Boot Options menu, restart the computer, and then repeat this step until you see the menu on the screen.
