Answers :

You need to replace the cmos battery in your computer. Theu are usually Cr2032 batteries which you should be able to pick up for about £1.
\015\012
\015\012unplug your computer and open the case.
\015\012When you look at the motherboard you should be able to easily locate the cmos battery cliped onto the mobo.
\015\012Take the old battery out and insert the new one.
\015\012put the case back on and plug the pc into the mains again.
\015\012You will need to re-enter the date etc the next time you boot up, but the settings should be retained after that.

My HP Pavilion dv9005us has two issues which I cannot resolve. The wireless device is not even recognized or detected by the computer, and there seems to be an electrical problem where the lighted buttons at the top flicker on and off from time to time, which may also be linked to an issue where the computer will at times refuse to turn on after I press the on button and watch it all light up in response and immediately shut off. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
