Ac adaptor plugged in but battery continues to drain

Answers :

Hello there:
Mike the first thing that you are going to want to check is to make sure that the battery is able to be charged if the charging system is good and you are positive of this
Turn off the computer and look in the back where the battery goes and closley check the area that the battery sits in and make sure that all of the copper terminals are all very clean and are not loose You can use a q-tip and some rubbing alcohol on the terminals buit make sure that they are dry before you reinsert the battery than restart the computer anmd see what happens
Also check the battery copper terminals too for the same thing. if still nothing has helped than you can assume that the battery has a dead cell in it and should be changed for a new one ok?
I hope that this has been very helpfull for you
Best regards michael
