Having problems with your Dell Latitude D600 Notebook ?

I recently upgraded my RAM and now the LatD600 runs really hot

\015 The heat comes primarily from the left side of the mouse touchpad. It's too hot to even rest my wrist on. I've tried elevating the machine to allow air to flow around it. I've also run a fan on it. I'm a student so I do need to be on the computer for long periods of time. Any solutions!?\015

Make sure you installed compatible RAM into your computer. If you're running RAM that is made for a slower speed, it will overheat.
