Having problems with your Dell Latitude C840 Notebook ?

My Dell Latitude C840 works only with one memory module

\015 My Dell Latitude C840 works only with one memory card. It is not able to recognize second memory module, even when I switch memory modules between 2 slots. For example, my 512MB module works in either slot (so as 256MB module), but when I put them both, it is not able to detect 768MB of RAM. If I put 2 modules of 256MB it is able to detect only one of them. Does anybody have an idea what is going on? I did upgrade BIOS to the latest version, A13...\015
