My cursor jumps while I'm typing

\015 It seems that my keyboard is too sensitive, my cursor always seems to jump to the same position. (usually back two or three words)\015

Answers :

Go into the control panel and then the keyboard icon. You can control the speed in there such as the repeat rate, repeat delay, and cursor blink rate.

Also go into the mouse icon in the control panel and you can control the speed and such in there to since thats worth a shot.

The issue is probably not with the keyboard but with the sensitivity of the touchpad. The same thing happens to me. What is really happening, at least to me, is that i drag a thumb across the pad and that send the cursor sailing. You can go into the Mouse settings through the Control Panel and open the touchpad tab to adjust the sensitivity to a lower level. Test it while you are in that window too make certain that it functions as you want it to. Then save and close the window and try typing.

If you are still seeing the issue, you can try what one of my former customer's did. He taped a business card over the pad when he needed to do a lot of typing. You could also turn off the touchpad, but going in and out of the Control Panel can get old, too.

Good luck, and please let me know who it works out for you.
