Having problems with your Dell Inspiron 6000 Notebook ?

System Suite 9 won't run Antivirus or show updated pattern files

\015 When I manually install the pattern files to System Suite 9, the AV/AS scan update shows N/A across the board, so while it appears to download in the software using the manual tool, it's like it's not registering to the software at all. The Active protection and email protection show disabled and won't enable. When I try to actually run a virus scan, it instantly says it's done. It appears that the whole virus scan engine portion of the software stopped working or was wiped out when my system crashed. How do I get this working again, I don't have the software to reinstall it because I purchased it online from Avanquest and they still have not answered my request for help. I'm running Windows XP.\015
