No power to the dell ispron

\015 The power chord is not getting power to charge the laptop. We sent it in to get the mother board fixed, we got a new chord, it worked for a while, and now he is having problems again. The chord won't charge it, it manages to get a little power when he moves it around, but its hard.\015

Hi cochran,
\015\012I would recommend since you had the hardware in the laptop checked and the powerchord was replaced that you try charging the device in a different wall socket as the problem my lie there. However it is more likely that your DC input receiver that you plug the chord into on the laptop is defective and this is not an issue with your motherboard, it is a seperate connector that charges the internal battery. It could be also that whoever is using the powerchord is continually straining the wires by twisting them, or stretching them in awkward directions unintenionally. You want to be sure that there is always some slack in cable when it is connected, and that it is wrapped up correctly (ie dont just tangle all the wires up and throw it in a bag when it is not in use).
