How can I take my computer back to the factory setting? I have the Dell Ispirion 531

All you need to do is:
First, save all of your files that you want to keep to a backup disk.
Next, simply insert your Recovery CD in the CD drive and reinstall.
Make sure you click on the option to Reinstall.
DO NOT CLICK ON "REPAIR"
