Having problems with your Dell Inspiron 1501 Notebook ?

The first thing you should do is find out what kind of motherboard you have!! the problem is that maybe your board wont take ram over 512 if you put more ram than what your board can take then it wont boot up!!
Are you are exceeding the maxium total ram for this notebook? It will only accept a maximum of two 1GB modules.
