Having problems with your Dell Dimension C521 PC Desktop ?

My Dell Dimension C521 computer is suddenly making a lot of constant noise. Would like to know how to open the case so that I will be able to use air can on the fans

Looks fairly simple from here, but you never know. On the back of the unit and on the right hand side as you sit looking at the back of the unit, you will see 1-4 screws sitting in tabs that connect to the outer case.
\015\012
\015\012Take these screws out and put them aside. Now the case should slide off and judging by the looks of it your case will slide to the rear. You may have to take a small screwdriver and pry the case a little bit at the front to get the case to move. If it won't move look for more screws on the outer edge of the case and remove these.
\015\012
\015\012I may be wrong but i think just the one side comes off but it may be that the whole case will slide back and then come off, but this should get you started.
\015\012
\015\012Last thing SHUT THE POWER OFF TO THE COMPUTER while you are poking around in there. Hope this helps.
