Dell Dimension 8400 will not boot period

\015 My computer was working fine last night. \302\240I shut it down when I went to bed, but when I came back this morning to turn it back on, it beeped several times very loudly and then the fan came on and sounded like a jet engine, louder than I have ever heard it. \302\240There doesn't seem to be any signal being sent to the monitor. \302\240It just continues to search for a signal.\015\012\015\012I opened up the case a little bit ago and unplugged the drives (in hopes to not hurt them in any of the repair processes). \302\240When I turned on the computer after that it still beeped at me but the fans didn't go crazy. \302\240Plus, there still was no display on the monitor. \302\240So I haven't really made any progress.\015\012\015\012Any ideas on what could be wrong? \302\240Motherboard and Processor were two ideas that came to my mind. \302\240The computer is about 5 years old and I dont really want to sink any more money into it, but it would be nice to get it working again to get my files off if nothing else...\015
