Having problems with your Dell Dimension 4600 PC Desktop ?

I have a Dell Dimension 4600 and it won't boot up. When I turn it on the green power light comes on and hard drive activity light flashes however no fans come on, the screen doesn't show the Dell logo or anything at all (stays blank). The diagnostic lights on the back are Yellow/green flashing; Yellow; Green; Green. Can anyone help? Have tried removing and reinstalling the memory cards, disconnecting from the power supply and then restarting.

Answers :

I would have to disagree with jerry, while that seems reasonable if the motherboard fan isn't running at all then whether or not the video card is ok is somewhat irrelevant.\015\012
\015\012I would agree somewhat though, i think the PSU might be a good thing to check to see if it is functional.\015\012
\015\012when you power it on does the CPU fan start or shudder at least ? that would be my first guess for a problem if you had been having any problems recently
