Having problems with your Dell Dimension 2400 PC Desktop ?

I cant access any website form my dell home pc though my high speed provider has confirmed my modem is online,also I ran the WIndows diagnostic and it said my connectivity is fine, any guesses? thanks k

\015\012then check if the computer is able to go online. if it is able to go online then you need to restart the computer and go in normal mode and check for your firewall settings. turn off the firewalls in your computer, which usually is with security software like mcafee, norton, symantec, trendmicro, avast, CA security etc.,

You need to establish an internet connection. Right click on my network places, on your desktop, go to properties , then on the left side, "create a new connection, then just follow the prompts. Just because the modem is online doesn't give you an internet connection. You have to input the data that the wizard asks you. if you still are not up at that point, then you will need assistance, Good luck
