Having problems with your Compaq Presario 2195US Notebook ?

\015 UNMOUNTABLE______BOOT_____VOLUME ***Stop: 0 X 000000ED ( 0 X 84B6AE30, 0 X C0000006, 0 X 00000000, 0 X 00000000)my laptop keep shuting down itself when I try to boot from CD, it will load it, but when it's says "windows starting", it will shut down. I can't go on safe mode, it keeps going on the begining. laptop (compaq presario V5000) wont load windows xp. When I try to reinstal from CD, it shuts down by itself. I CAN'T boot up from cd, hard drive or from nowhere....can't go in safe mode with networking nor with comand prompt, can't do "last good configuration" ... troubleshooting : whichever I start, it will go to "windows xp" logo and youcan "see" that he is trying to load , but then laptop shuts down by itself.I tried hard reset, disconecting hard drive on the back of laptop and reconecting it again, but it's still the same.... I took the whole thing in to 100's pieces, cleaned everything, put itback together...and it's STILL the same... When I "disable automatic restart...' I get on blue screen this:\015\012Tehnical info.\015\012\015\012UNMOUNTABLE______BOOT_____VOLUME ***Stop: 0 X 000000ED ( 0 X 84B6AE30, 0 X C0000006, 0 X 00000000, 0 X 00000000)\015

It could be a problem with the harddrive and memories ,if you enter the DELL bios setup page when the computer starts up does it have an option to test the hard drive if so test it.
Also if you have two memory sticks then try with only one and vice versa.

Try booting with another boot CD like the ultimate boot CD it has some hard drive testing tools too.
