Sub-woofer operation I have an old set of GREAT Yamaha computer speakers including sub-woofer YST-M15. The sub-woofer doesn't stay on if not in use for a while. However, when I play a .wav , etc. file it USUALLY turns on. Is it triggered by the sound or do I have a short in the on-off button. I've never had a sub-woofer like this. I bought a sub woofer from a thrift store used and even though my existng computer speakers have a sub woofer jack, after hooking it up, it doesnt play. Hi, I have a pair of Logitech x-320 speakers. Only the top portion of the right speaker plays when plugged into the sub-woofer and only faintly plays.
