Having problems with your ASUS G1 Notebook ?

Black screen startup

\015 For the past two days, when I start up my ASUS G1 the screen shows no video. I can hear the ASUS startup sound but no picture (and no windows startup sound). If I leave it on sometimes the startup sound will sound again. The day it died on me it had done a weird split black screen, I restarted and everything was okay. Then when I shut it down the screen stayed black. I tried again and it worked. Now, there's no way to get it to work. I've tried taking out the battery and power cord, left it for hours. I've tried blowing out the fan incase it was overheating.\015
