No Signal and BIOS troubles - new video card
\015 I tried to install an ATI Radeon 4650 video card, and have been having troubles from the first time I put the card in. I am using an Acer Aspire am1201-b1603a with 3gb ddr2 memory, 320 gb sata hard drive, etcetera, etcetera. I have tried jumping the CMOS to reset it, removing the CMOS battery to reset it, and everything else that others suggested. Right now, with no video card installed but the stock one, I am able to bring up the BIOS screen (which says "date/time wrong"). I change the date and time, save and exit, then try to enter Windows Vista via "Start windows normally". From here you see the windows loading bar (the green one with the vista logo on a black background), and then you see "No signal" and the monitor goes to sleep. What do I do?\015
Try using the onboard graphics instead and remove the graphics card. then uninstall all the graphics card drivers and software and reinstall again. make sure you install 32bit or 64bit depending on what your operating system is. you can find out if it's 32 or 64 bit in the welcome center of vista.
