How do i change the memory from 1 gb to 2 gb ? I

\015 Acer Aspire One 751 : How do i change the memory from 1 gb to 2 gb ? I have opende the panel but need to know how to loose the chip\015

Answers :

If you look at the sides of the chip there are two small notches in the material
\015\012There are also two spring steel clips which locate in those notches
\015\012
\015\012Make sure that the power lead is out and the battery is disconnected
\015\012also that you touch the metal case of the laptop before you handle the chips or use a wrist earth strap
\015\012
\015\012To release the original chip use your fingernails to gently ease the clips away from the notches the chip will then spring up and can be lifted out.
\015\012
\015\012Make sure that you note where the cut out is on bottom of the chip when you remove it.
\015\012
\015\012Put the new chip in so that the cut out is in the same place as the original press down and forward and the chip will enter the connector and the side clips will re-engage
