First thing you would have to do is find a replacement jack.
Go to Acer's support website, email them and ask if you can purchase a replacement female power jack. If so order it.
If they don't offer that then you can try ebay, try searching " acer aspire 5050 power jack".

If you find one and order it, post back for further help. Your chances of being able to get one are 50/50 finding one. Then you would have to open the laptop ( potentially damaging components making it not work.
If you do get it open carefully you will have to remove the old one, solder the new one on without getting any solder on anything else..

You have to have some experience doing this job. Working on desktops is one thing but laptops are a lilttle harder.
