Having problems with your Acer Aspire 4520-5582 Notebook ?

My power cord connection to my Acer laptop is poor. It seems that the laptop is melting the male portion of the power cord connector..What would you suggest to eliminate this problem?

My Dell Inspiron 1200 will not run on ac power supply. It drains the battery and this is when it is plugged into the power.
