Having problems with your Acer Aspire 2930-4661 Notebook ?

Keyboard strokes repeated on their own

\015 Hello, I have bought a new aspire 2930 and there seems to be something that triggers 2 things at the same time (1) bluetooth going on and off on its own (2) some keystrokes -that I do not type- are typed on their own and most frequently they are "zdv" followed by a signle character repeated indefinitely and I hear a sound going on like an error.\015\012\015\012Could these be sticky keys settings (from where should I adjust them?) or shortcuts or other settings.\015\012\015\012Pls advise and thnx\015

Hi there.
You can go to the control panel and select keyboard from the list to adjust the keyboard settings, if this does not resolve your problem then chances are the keyboard is defective so take advantage of the manufacturers warranty and send it in for repair.
Don't try to remove or take apart the keyboard as doing that will void the warranty.

Good luck and thanks for choosing FixYa!!
