Does the problem occur, after installing clean Windows, but before you run any updates, instal any drivers, or load any applications? If so, then it is a hardware problem. It may be something broken, or it may be non-standard hardware (incompatible with default windows drivers). If you have already run Windows updates, and installed/updated any extra drivers, then those are suspect too.
\015\012
\015\012Suggest you first check your memory.
\015\012
\015\012Is the computer brand new, and/or have you had a memory upgrade within the last 3 months? If so, then a memory problem is a little more likely.
\015\012
\015\012Use another computer to download and create a CD containing this memory checking tool, and boot into it.
\015\012http://www.memtest86.com/download.html
\015\012Give it plenty of time (overnight) to thoroughly check the memory.
\015\012
\015\012If it has a problem, get your memory replaced (under warranty if possible). Also be wary that some brands of computer/motherboard need special memory that you can't buy off-the-shelf, and you must use the right kind (I've had that problem, took 3 goes to work it out, had special memory made and since then it's brilliant)
\015\012
\015\012BIOS - get PC builder's latest flash version and make sure you install that cleanly, and have all settings at their defaults.
\015\012
\015\012HDD: I have used SeaTools (seagate website) to verify disk - the way it works, you make a CD and boot from that. It doesn't depend on the HDD being Seagate.
\015\012http://www.seagate.com/ww/v/index.jsp?locale=en-US&name=SeaTools&vgnextoid=720bd20cacdec010VgnVCM100000dd04090aRCRD
\015\012
\015\012If it's not memory, or HDD, next places to look are the motherboard, video/sound card, wireless network adapter, any other built-in devices. Either have it looked at by a hardware expert (if you can use warranty), or start with a fresh copy of windows (as it sounds like you've done).
\015\012
\015\012Starting with only the plain Windows installation, you could install just the very most essential applications, so long as they are not tied to hardware (ie not drivers, and don't contain drivers), so you can use it for a few days. If the laptop is stable, then update to latest Windows service pack level, and wait again for a few days to make sure its stable.
\015\012Then add clean (no-virus) copies of more up-to-date device drivers, one at a time, giving each some time to see if it's OK or not. You may be able to isolate what is the problem this way. Preferably use the drivers from your PC builder's website (eg ACER, HP, Lenovo, Dell, etc), rather than the component manufacturers' site (nVidia, etc). And not from a 3rd party unless absolutely necessary.
\015\012
\015\012Of course, if you have warranty support, it may be fixed faster, but if you are on your own, then taking the time to isolate each piece may be the best way to go. If it goes belly up, take special care to notice exactly what you were doing, and which parts of the computer would be being challenged (eg are you browsing, is the network adapter being heavily used? These days with computer multi-tasking and lots of background services, this may not be easy.
\015\012
\015\012Keep a log as you re-build each component: date, time, what you installed, any non-default configuration adjustments, anything might be relevant. Useful to keep this active for the life of your computer, to keep jotting down any new things you install later on.
\015\012
\015\012Hopefully there's something in the above that will help you.
Hi..

Do you have a little knowledge on how to disassemble you unit. You need to disassemble your unit clean the dust, remove the (memory stick, hard disk drive, proccessor,) include also the power to the motherboard. Reset the cmos remove the jamper near the cmos. To locate the jamper you can see it in the motherboard near the cmos battery You can read a label CLR means clear.
If your unit are fresh for formatting you need to install also the video driver. You need to install the motherboard driver.

Good luck!
