Unknown pass word for Toshiba Qosmio G35

\015 I have a Toshiba Qosmio G35 Sr. #56095650H p/n PQG 30U-00P006. It has a finger print recognition device. I never set up a password and now when I power up the unit, the ''Qosmio Screen comes up and then a password screen comes up. Since I never set a password, I do not know how to fix it. It was suggested that when I power up, to hold the Fn and F5 key down to start in safe mode. This does not work -- the pass word screen comes up.\015

Answers :

Call toshiba tech support the should be able to give you a master reset password.... if they do write it down incase this happens again
First the safe mode start up key is F8 if you press this as soon as you see the manufacturer logo on startup should bring up another menu manufacture logo would be dell hp ECT. . . Second if you haven't set a password sometimes just pressing enter on the keyboard with the password blank will Log you in. The reason you would you safe mode is some computers have an administrative safe mode account that does not require a password unless it was changed in safe mode hope this helps if you have any questions please comment
