Cannot Burn Recovery Disc on New Gateway NV5214U Laptop

\015 When I attempt to burn my recovery disc the recovery program reads the blank discs as being full. I saw another buyer of this laptop mention on the Best Buy review site that he needed to download a patch from the url below to make it work. http://snipurl.com/0x205I just need to know where to install these files because no instructions came with the zip file.
