Problem with Pentium D 1gb ram desktop

\015 Hello, I have a desktop pc, pentium D with 1gb of memory, 80gb hd. the problem is when the computer is restarted or has been on for a while and you want to turn it back on, it starts to beep and and it will not come on. If you do wait 25 to 30 minutes it will turn on normally with no problems at all. Can someone please help, Thanks in advance and God Bless.\015\012\015\012Willie D\015

Sounds like the cpu fan isn't doing its job quite right... (Do not touch anything inside while doing this)... Take the cover off a make sure the fan is indeed running.. Look for dust in the fin's of the cooling block underneath it... If it's dirty with dust it can reduce the cooling of the fan.. Turn your computer off and unplug. Get a can or two of compressed air from RadioShack and blow the dust and dirt from the fan and motherboard, plus all add in cards.... Compressed air in a can for RadioShack or other Vendors has no moisture in it..( VERY IMPORTANT )..
\015\012If that fails then the fan proably isn't running a the proper rpm's to cool the cpu... By a new cooling fan..They aren't that much... If that fail's then the motherboard is overheating to much, a sign that its on it's last leg's.......
\015\012Hope this helped.....
