Having problems with your PC Desktops ?

Our Norton AntiVirus is "green-checked" only 25% of the time. When I go to try to turn on the AutoProtect, it says, "error". This has been going on for about a month. We do the Live Update and the complete scan at least once a week. We reboot often after trying to get it on again, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Is there an easy answer? Should we install a new antivirus program? We still have over 50 days left on our subscription.
