Having problems with your PC Desktops ?

I can see the wire thats loose connecting my motherboard to the start button how do i fix this

Answers :

It all depends where it's loose from. If it's loose from the motherboard you will need to open the case and locate the +PW- plug. Normally this is in the lower right hand corner of the motherboard where the other front panel wiring is attached. In fact most times there will be small print F_PANEL to show where the those items on the front go. The power switch is only a two plug connector and the + - signs don't really apply to it. The metal prongs that your looking for are in a group of others. They are all labeled for various purposes. Such as +HD- (hard drive led_, +RWST- (reset switch), +PWR LED- (power led).

If the wiring is disconnected at the switch you are going to need to pull the front panel off in order to repair it. It is just a simple momentary switch that can be replace if damaged at Radio Shack. Most of the time they are just hot glued in place so they are easy to replace.
I hope this helps.
