Having problems with your PC Desktops ?

No PBR3 or PBR4

\015 Doing a DSRFIX, I ran PTEDIT to ensure everything was in order and there was only 1 active which is good. However, It's only showing 2:\015\012\015\01207 | 00 | ect..\015\012DE | 00 | ect..\015\012\015\012\015\012and I need\015\012\015\012DB | 00| ect\015\012\015\012However, I have no way of installing it or fixing it. Can I use my (dos) MBR fix to fix it? I'm running on a Dell (yuck) Dimension 4550 \015\012with no recovery discs. I'm in MS-DOS BOOT, not windows version.\015

Hi,
\015\012 The loading PBR descriptor error that you are getting could be because of two reasons. An invalid DOS partison on the harddrive and second a bad hardrive.
\015\012Use the following link to debug the harddrive ie. low level format of the hardrive. if the issue is still unresolved, it would require a replacement the harddrive.
