Constant whirring- fan?

\015 My laptop has a constant whirring coming from the fan (i think)- it is irritating and nobody wants me with my laptop in the same room when they're working due to this sound!\015\012\015\012Please Help!\015

Answers :

The whirring sound could mean the computer is running pretty warm and the fan is working hard to cool it. Or your fan is flat out going bad in which case replace it. One thing you might try is to get a can of compressed air (BlowOff) and see if you can get some dust out that may make you computer run cooler and your fan run smoother.
