Most likely your motherboard does not like the ram you installed.. remove one or both of the ram chips leaving the one that was in originally.. test with that chip .. if it works something is wrong with the new ram: it's either the wrong speed or voltage for your motherboard or possibly defective.. you can consult your motherboard manual or motherboard manufacturers site for a complete list of approved RAM.
\015\012Keep in mind, most gaming memory requires a higher voltage than generic memory and some motherboards just dont produce it..
