Unable to boot os after power supply change

\015 Power supply quit one day. Replaced with new power supply, now computer will not boot up. Power supply is working as fans are working and hard drive will hum for a short time then go into power save mode. Operating system was not corrupted before power supply quit. Screen on monitor reads check lines (can't remember the exact wording)\015

Answers :

I would make sure you connected the Power to the main switch correctly it is usually a 3 wire connect, check all connections on the HDD, motherboard, and CD's. also check the WATs rating on your old power supply against the WATs on the new power supply, if the new one is less that is probably your issue.

PLZkeep me posted.
