Having problems with your Computer Speakers ?

The speakers have TWO connectors for the back of the CPU - one with a "squared" off edge, the other fully circular. Both are light green. There is ONE green female socket on the back of the CPU the others, while "Speaker" connections, are different colors. No matter which green one I plug into the green receiver, and no matter where I place the other one - no power to the speakers. computer is an HP Pavillion #m8000n
